Step 1: Diagnostic Evaluation

Students begin their individualized tutoring program by taking an actual SAT/PSAT or ACT exam in our center under test-like conditions. We produce a multi-page, detailed analysis of the results to identify each student’s strengths and needs, determining where our tutors should focus to help the student achieve the highest possible test score.

Step 2: Customized Learning Program

Based on the results of the diagnostic evaluation, our highly trained tutors build a personalized test prep program for each student focused on his or her individual needs. We know the SAT/PSAT and ACT inside and out, and have designed our curriculum to ensure our students are never surprised on test day.

Step 3: One-to-One Attention

We give every student one-to-one instruction in the areas where he or she needs improvement. This enables our professional tutors to work at each student’s pace, taking as much time as needed to help students master their test-taking skills. With access to the teacher’s undivided attention, our students learn faster and more effectively than in a group setting or alone with a test-prep book.

Step 4: Focus on Learning, Not Just Facts

With more than 750 pieces of proven curriculum, we teach students the strategies and skills to score well on college entrance exams, but we also foster a broader, deeper understanding of the material on the SAT/PSAT and ACT. Students receive regular practice with official, full-length SAT/PSAT and ACT tests administered under test-like conditions. We produce detailed score analyses for each test to measure the student’s progress and to pinpoint areas requiring further attention.
